Park Hyatt Seoul opened in 2005 in Gangnam, Seoul's primary contemporary business-and-luxury district south of the Han River, occupying the upper floors of a 24-story glass tower designed by the Japanese firm Super Potato (the property's signature feature: every guest room has substantial city views from the upper-floor positioning).
