The property is the largest IHG-flagged hotel on Prince Edward Island and the three-star answer for guests who want the IHG One Rewards points stamp and the consistent Holiday Inn Express room product without the cost or the parking constraint of the downtown stock. The building is a four-storey block of 132 keys with a glass-roofed pool wing on the eastern side; the floorplate is the most generous of the airport-side stock and the corridor finishes are notably above the Choice properties in the same band.

The 132 rooms are arranged across four floors with two passenger elevators and a single back-of-house service core. Entry-level rooms run 26 to 28 square metres with one king or two queens, materially larger than the Comfort Inn down the strip, in the current IHG Formula Blue scheme of grey-blue accent walls, a charcoal headboard, and a granite-look bathroom vanity. King Express suites add a small separate sitting area with a pull-out sofa; the largest accommodations are two-room king suites with a connecting door, useful for a family of five or six travelling together. Soundproofing on the property is unusually good for a roadside build, the Trans-Canada Highway noise does not carry to the rooms on any floor.

The included Express Start breakfast runs from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM, the earliest start of any breakfast in the Charlottetown market and the operational reason the property holds a meaningful share of the airline-crew accommodation and the early-flight government traffic. The presentation is the IHG Formula Blue standard, hot eggs, sausage or bacon, the cinnamon roll station, fresh fruit, cereal, and coffee. There is no on-site dinner service. The lobby market sells snacks, sandwiches, and beverages around the clock for late arrivals and is the most-used of the airport-side late-night options.

Recreation runs through a 10-metre indoor pool, an adjacent hot tub, and a fitness centre that was fully re-equipped in 2024. The pool runs from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM and is the highest-traffic amenity on the floorplate. There is a single small meeting room on the lobby level handling up to 30 guests for a board meeting or a working lunch; the property is not a conference venue and does not compete with the Delta or the Rodd for that traffic. Free on-site parking is consistent across the entire floorplate. Service is brand-standard IHG and rooted in a stable local team that has run the property for most of the last decade.
