November–March is Dubai at peak — pleasant temperatures (22–28°C), low humidity. April–May and October are shoulder. June–September is the hot season (40–45°C); rates drop 30–50% but outdoor activities are limited. Christmas/New Year's pricing is 30–50% above standard. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is 10–20 minutes by taxi to most central hotels. The Metro is excellent and reaches most major districts. Within Dubai, taxis and Uber/Careem are widely available. The hotels offer water taxis and helicopter transfers at the very top end.
