We collect basic analytics through a privacy-respecting analytics provider. We do not run ad-tech profile cookies. We collect email addresses through our newsletter signup form (Formspree). We collect form submissions through Formspree. We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do place affiliate-tracking cookies when you click through to a hotel-booking site; these are governed by the booking site's own privacy policy.
This page is the short version. The full version follows.
Analytics: pages viewed, browser type, screen size, referrer URL, country (not city). Aggregated, non-personally-identifying. Stored for up to 12 months.
Form submissions: only what you choose to submit (name, email, message, role). Stored by Formspree per their privacy policy. Forwarded to us by email. Retained until manually deleted.
Newsletter: email address only. Stored on our newsletter platform. Used to send the weekly newsletter and occasional editorial updates.
Strictly-necessary cookies for the site to work. Analytics cookies (privacy-respecting). Affiliate-tracking cookies set by hotel-booking platforms when you click an affiliate link.
