Campaign one is expansion: after Fairmont Tokyo opened on 1 July 2025 and Fairmont Hanoi followed in February 2026, the brand's own booking engine now shows Bangkok Sukhumvit live for stays from June 2026 and New Orleans from November, with roughly 27 more projects in the pipeline. Campaign two is renewal: about a fifth of the existing portfolio is under renovation, and it has already produced one casualty of confusion in the press, a closure widely misattributed to Quebec City's Chateau Frontenac that actually belongs to Fairmont Winnipeg, shut since 1 July 2026.
