SO/ Paris — 162 rooms across the top eight floors of the
Pont de Sully, 4th  ·  Five-Star  ·  #34 in Paris

SO/ Paris

The first SO/ in Paris opened September 2022 — 162 rooms across floors 7-14 of a long-empty 1970s tower at Pont de Sully, with Bonnie restaurant and club on floors 15 and 16, the only purpose-built rooftop hotel club in central Paris.

#34 in Paris
Bachelor/ette Anniversary Business Design

"Bonnie on the 16th floor is the closest thing to a Mykonos-style rooftop club inside the Paris ring — for a city that nominally bans tall buildings, the SO/ delivers the only true panoramic five-star view above the Seine."

The Hotel

SO/ Paris opened on 6 September 2022 as the seventh property under the Accor lifestyle SO/ brand, after Bangkok (2012), Singapore (2018), Vienna (2020), Sotogrande (2021), Mauritius (2021) and Berlin (2021). The Paris property occupies floors 7-16 of the Morland Mixité Capitale tower at 10 rue Agrippa d'Aubigné, 75004 — a 1965 Albert Laprade modernist office block that was Paris municipal services for half a century, redeveloped 2018-2022 by David Chipperfield Architects with Calq and SETEC under the Réinventer Paris programme. The hotel sits at the meeting point of the Seine, the Pont de Sully and the eastern tip of Île Saint-Louis, the only Marais-adjacent five-star with a tower address and the only Right Bank hotel above the building height limit that applies inside the périphérique.

The 162 rooms are configured as 140 standard rooms and 22 suites across floors 7-14, all designed by Spanish architect-designer Isabel López-Vilalta in collaboration with the Tristan Auer Studio for the public floors. The room palette is ivory and brushed brass with floor-to-ceiling glazing on every category — the standard rooms run 28 square metres, the Junior Suites 50 square metres, the SO Suite at 80 square metres, and the SO VIP Suite at 158 square metres on floor 14 with a private 50-square-metre terrace facing Notre-Dame, the only hotel suite in Paris with a direct line of sight to the cathedral's rebuilt spire. Every room has a balcony or terrace; every category has a Marshall speaker; and the bedside-control system is Lutron with one-touch curtain operation across the full glass wall.

Bonnie is the headline kitchen and the property's calling card — a 360-degree restaurant-bar-club concept on floors 15 and 16, designed by the Tristan Auer Studio and operated by the Paris Society group (Loulou, Mun, Manko). Floor 15 is the dining room with chef Mathieu Pacaud (ex-Hexagone, l'Ambroisie) running a Mediterranean-French menu under brass ceiling-folding louvers; floor 16 is the bar-club with DJ programme Wednesday-Saturday until 2 AM with the only true 360-degree rooftop terrace in central Paris (Notre-Dame west, Bastille north, Bercy east, Île Saint-Louis south). The property also includes Le Chant des Oiseaux, the lobby breakfast restaurant on floor 7, and the Citadel Spa with 12-metre indoor pool, sauna and four treatment rooms in the basement.

The position is the proposition. The Marais begins three minutes north on foot, Île Saint-Louis is across the Pont de Sully, the Latin Quarter is across the Pont de la Tournelle, and the Bastille Métro is a five-minute walk. SO/ Paris is the answer for guests who want a Marais base with a rooftop, a club, and a panoramic view — three things no historic Marais five-star can deliver. The brand orientation is lifestyle and design rather than legacy luxury; the rate is correspondingly more accessible than the palace tier. The post-2022 Bonnie programming is what most guests book the hotel for.

Best Occasion Fit

Bachelor/Bachelorette

For Paris bachelor/ette weekends the SO/ is the strongest answer in central Paris — Bonnie's club programming on the 16th floor is the highest-altitude legitimate party room in the city, the SO Suite or SO VIP Suite handles 8-10-person pre-game easily, and the Marais nightlife corridor begins three minutes north on foot. Group block bookings of 6-10 rooms are routine; the Paris Society DJ booking desk programmes private rooftop events.

Anniversary

For an anniversary that reframes Paris as a contemporary city rather than a Belle Époque set piece, the SO VIP Suite with the private Notre-Dame-facing terrace is the unmatched booking. Bonnie at sunset is the dinner; the Citadel Spa pool the next morning is the recovery. The Île Saint-Louis ice-cream walk across the Pont de Sully is the closing image.

Business

For Paris business stays in the Marais-Bastille corridor, the SO/ is the only five-star with a tower workspace orientation. The 11 meeting rooms run from boardroom to ballroom; the Bonnie private dining room handles 12-30 guests; the Citadel Spa pool is the morning routine. Bercy's banking-finance row is six minutes by car; Châtelet-Les Halles is eight minutes by Métro from Sully-Morland.
