It runs 101 rooms and suites plus 20 villas; the 540 sqm Bulgari Villa, with three bedrooms, a private cinema and a 14-seat dining room, is the largest. Dining is the headline: Il Ristorante - Niko Romito holds two Michelin stars and Hoseki one, backed by the Bulgari Yacht Club and Pool Bar. The Bulgari Spa handles wellness. Bulgari Resort Dubai opened in November 2017 on Jumeira Bay, a small artificial island, shaped from above like a seahorse, connected to mainland Jumeirah by a 300-metre causeway. The architecture, by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, treats the island as a single integrated landscape: the resort, the residences, the marina, and the yacht club are all designed as one continuous architectural statement in travertine, Italian walnut, and Murano glass. There is no other resort in Dubai that feels this much like a single coherent design idea.
There are 101 rooms, suites, and villas. The Deluxe King is 65 square metres with a private terrace; the Premier rooms have direct sea views across the gulf to the Burj Al Arab and Palm Jumeirah on the horizon. The six Mansion Villas, at the eastern tip of the island, are stand-alone two- to four-bedroom houses, each with a 25-metre swimming pool, a private gym, a beach gate, and 24-hour butler. The 700-square-metre Bulgari Suite, on the resort's top floor, is the city's most decorated honeymoon suite and one of the highest-grossing single-key residences in the Middle East.
Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, the resort's signature, holds a Michelin star, the first awarded in Dubai when the city's guide launched. La Spiaggia, on the resort's private beach, is the relaxed Mediterranean lunch room with the Burj Al Arab on one horizon and the marina on the other. Il Bar, on the lower terrace, serves the most considered Negroni Sbagliato in the city. The 1,700-square-metre Bulgari Spa runs across the resort's eastern wing, the only ESPA-affiliated spa in Dubai with a 25-metre indoor pool finished in green Verde Aver marble.
The Bulgari's distinguishing quality, repeatedly remarked on by Dubai-experienced advisors, is its architectural restraint inside a city defined by spectacle. The lobby is small, the colour palette is muted, and the staff training is the closest thing in Dubai to European five-star calm. Repeat guests cite the marina, 50 berths, a yacht club restaurant, a Bulgari-branded marina building, as the property's quiet hook. For a Dubai stay that wants quality of materials, considered service, and zero theatrics, this is the answer.
The Premier Sea View room, a private cabana at La Spiaggia, dinner at Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, and a 90-minute couples ESPA ritual is the considered Bulgari honeymoon arc. For the milestone version, the Bulgari Suite with a private boat transfer to the resort directly from DXB.
For a tenth or twentieth anniversary, the Mansion Villa upgrade, a stand-alone two-bedroom house with a 25-metre private pool, butler, and gated beach, is a uniquely private celebration setting. Brief the butler ahead and they will arrange a private dinner on the villa's beach with Niko Romito's team.
The Bulgari Spa is the only ESPA-affiliated facility in Dubai. The four-night Bulgari Restorative programme, daily massage, sound healing, two private hammams, and a personalised nutrition plan, is the city's most thoughtful wellness package. The 25-metre indoor green-marble pool is among the most photographed in Dubai.
