Amanyara opened in 2006 at Northwest Point on the western tip of Providenciales — Turks and Caicos' main island — on a private 18-acre nature reserve fronting a protected coral reef and conservation area. The architectural premise is contemporary Aman-tropical-modernist: forty timber pavilions distributed across the property's grounds with substantial private outdoor space, integrated with the existing tropical scrub forest rather than imposed on it. The Northwest Point Marine Park (the protected reef adjacent to the property) gives Amanyara substantial conservation programming and direct access to one of the Caribbean's most pristine snorkeling reefs.
The 40 accommodations split between the entry-level Ocean Pavilions (with garden or partial-ocean views), Beach Pavilions (with direct beach access), the Pond Pavilions (set around the property's freshwater ponds), and the multi-bedroom Pavilions and Villas including the Aman Villas — three- to six-bedroom standalone villas with private pools and butler service.
