The over-water villas sit on stilts above a sheltered lagoon, each with a private terrace, plunge pool, a glass floor panel and steps straight down to the water. It is a genuinely different register from the Strip-scale resorts elsewhere on the Palm: smaller, calmer, more about the villa than the spectacle. The trade-off is honest, this is a lagoon rather than open ocean, and the resort lacks the waterpark-and-aquarium machinery of Atlantis a short shuttle away. Book here if the over-water villa itself is the reason for the trip; book Atlantis instead if you want the big-resort circus.
