Dining is handled in-house by Hugo's, the wood-panelled European grill first opened in 1969 and revived here, with The Chinese Restaurant on the third floor for Cantonese and dim sum; Chin Chin Bar covers evening drinks and live music, and the Regency Club lounge runs breakfast and all-day refreshments for club-floor guests. The honest trade-off is that this is a four-star business hotel rather than a harbourfront luxury flagship: rooms are efficient and well-kept rather than plush, and only some face Victoria Harbour, so book it for the location and the K11 connection, not for a view or a spa.
Request a Regency Club room or suite: club access folds breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés into the rate, which adds up fast over a multi-night stay. On a tighter budget, a standard Deluxe Room is comfortable and just as well-located; the harbour-view rooms carry a premium that only pays off if you will actually be in the room at dusk.
