The Cromwell opened in 2014 as the first true boutique hotel on the Strip — 188 rooms only, the smallest count of any major Strip casino-hotel, on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road (directly opposite Caesars Palace, two blocks from Bellagio). The asset is the rooftop venue infrastructure — Drai's Beachclub (dayclub) and Drai's Nightclub (rooftop nightclub on the 11th floor of the building) are the in-house centerpieces, and the rooftop position with the Strip-view is one of the most-photographed venue assets in Vegas. The room product is small (the Junior Suite is the working group-of-four option, the larger Premium Suite handles up to six) and the boutique scale means the Cromwell does not handle large group bookings the way the Wynn or Bellagio do. The Cromwell is the right pick for the smaller bachelor group (4-6) where the Drai's-rooftop-club affiliation is the explicit working asset — the walk from suite to rooftop is three minutes via the elevator, the dayclub-to-nightclub continuity is shorter than at any other Strip property, and the Center-Strip geographic position handles the venue-walking for the alternative-night clubs.
