Why Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge for business

Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge opened in 2017 inside the restored Port of London Authority building of 1922, on Trinity Square opposite the Tower of London and three minutes from Tower Hill Underground. It is the only Four Seasons in the City, which puts the financial district at the door in a way no Mayfair address can match: the Bank of England is six minutes on foot, Lloyd's of London four, the Royal Exchange four, Liverpool Street nine. The hotel holds 100 rooms and suites; the two-bedroom Royal Suite, at 1,800 square feet, is the flagship. The dining changed in 2026, when La Dame de Pic closed and Cooper's Cut, a steakhouse set in the same landmark hall, opened in its place; Mei Ume continues the Chinese and Japanese kitchen, and the Rotunda Bar sits beneath the building's domed ceiling. The honest caveat is the setting: the City empties on weekends, so a leisure trip will find Mayfair livelier. For a deal close, an IPO roadshow, or any visit pinned to City meetings, this is the sharper base.

Best room to request

Royal Suite (1,800 sqft, two bedrooms) or Trinity Square Suite (entry-level with Tower of London-direction view).

Concierge tip

Book Cooper's Cut for the business dinner and ask for the counter seats. Use the Trinity Square garden entrance for a discreet arrival. The car transfer to London City Airport runs about fifteen minutes door to door, against forty-five from Mayfair.

The wider context

Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge sits within our broader Top 20 Hotels in London for Business list. It scored an aggregate 9.7/10 across the three editorial criteria, competitive against the field but, on business-specific factors, the angle above is what earned its rank. For the alternatives in the same London neighbourhood, see City of London and adjacent. For a different city entirely, see the related lists below.

If you have already chosen the dates, our editor recommends booking the room twelve weeks ahead. Rooms with the coveted orientation are claimed first, while popular-month availability runs out months in advance. The plunge-pool and terrace suites, the categories that justify this ranking, tend to sell out before anything else.
