Aman New York opened in 2022 in the upper floors of the Crown Building on Fifth Avenue, immediately becoming the most expensive and most-discussed business hotel in Manhattan. Eighty-three suites only — the smallest entry-level suite is 656 square feet, the Aman Suite runs to 7,000 square feet — and every guest receives access to the Aman Club (the members-only lounge on the 14th floor), which has effectively replaced the older Midtown private clubs as the meeting space of choice for senior dealmakers in finance and tech. The Aman Spa is the largest hotel spa in Manhattan at 25,000 square feet and includes a 65-foot indoor pool, a hammam, and the only private treatment-room product at this scale in the city. The Wolfgang Puck restaurant Nama replaced the original opening (Arva) in 2024 and is the right room for the high-stakes business dinner. Aman New York is the right pick for the business trip where the room is the deal — the meeting happens in the suite (the Aman Club provides additional space), the breakfast is in-room, the spa is the recovery, and the rate ($3,200+) is the price of the proximity.
