The Heritage Avenida Liberdade is a Pombaline townhouse-and-warehouse complex built in the late 18th century immediately after the 1755 earthquake reconstruction had laid out the new Avenida (then named Passeio Público before becoming Avenida da Liberdade in the 1880s).
