The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa is the ground-up rebuild of Le Méridien Bora Bora, which closed in 2021; the property reopened in September 2024 as the first new resort opening on the lagoon since 2017. One hundred and twenty-eight bungalows, many with private plunge pools, the largest infinity pool in Bora Bora, and the Heavenly Spa by Westin.
The honeymoon asset survives from the old property: a shallow, sand-bottom lagoon section that lets couples snorkel straight off the bungalow deck at low tide, with rays passing below. Glass floor panels in the bungalows keep the lagoon in view from bed.
