The Lana opened on 1 February 2024 as the first Dorchester Collection property in the Middle East, a sister to The Dorchester and The Connaught in London, Le Meurice and Plaza Athénée in Paris, and the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. Designed by Foster + Partners with interiors by the Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier, it holds 225 rooms and suites on the Marasi Bay waterfront in Business Bay, with the upper-tier suites opening onto terraces that face the water and the Burj Khalifa skyline. For a honeymoon, the draw is a brand-new property running a London-luxury service culture in Dubai: Jean Imbert's Mediterranean Riviera and the rooftop High Society bar for the sunset cocktail, plus the first Dior Spa in the UAE up on the 29th floor with a dedicated couple's suite. Best for couples who want the newest, quietly polished Dubai address rather than a big beach resort; the honest trade-off is a Business Bay city setting, so the beach is a short drive, not a step from your room.
