A 53-room design hotel in Ibiza Town, a short walk below the Dalt Vila old town and the marina, with a seasonal rooftop bar, restaurant, and pool.
"In Ibiza Town, on foot to the old town and the marina, with a rooftop pool over the harbour. Trade square footage for the address."
The Standard, Ibiza suits a bachelorette that wants to be in the middle of things rather than out at a beach club. It opened in April 2022 as the Standard brand's first hotel in Spain, a compact 53-room property in Ibiza Town, a few minutes' walk below the UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila old town and the harbour. The centrepiece is UP, the seasonal rooftop bar and restaurant with a small pool and Japanese-Mexican plates, looking straight at the castle; street-level Jara handles the daytime crowd. The location does the heavy lifting: you can walk to dinner, up to the Dalt Vila ramparts, and over toward Marina Botafoch and Pacha without a taxi. Two honest caveats. There is no beach here, so build in day trips for sand and the big clubs, and the rooftop is seasonal and quiet outside summer. At roughly €420 a night in season you are paying for the address and the design, not the room size. For a group of four to six who want Ibiza Town on foot, that is the trade worth making.
A higher-floor corner room or suite for the harbour and Dalt Vila view, or an entry-level room if the rooftop and the location, not the square footage, are the point.
Start the evening on the UP rooftop at sunset for the castle view, then walk down to the marina and the Pacha side of the harbour. Mornings, climb into Dalt Vila before the heat. Confirm the rooftop is open for your dates, since it runs seasonally.
The Standard Ibiza sits within our broader Top 20 Hotels in Ibiza for a Bachelorette list. It scored an aggregate 9.4/10 across the three editorial criteria, competitive against the field but, on a bachelorette-specific factors, the angle above is what earned its rank. For the alternatives in the same Ibiza neighbourhood, see Ibiza Town harbour and adjacent. For a different city entirely, see the related lists below.
If you have already chosen the dates, book around twelve weeks ahead. The rooftop-view rooms, the ones this ranking leans on, sell through first for July and August, when rates also peak. Outside high summer, both space and price ease considerably.
