Twenty miles of limestone, the loudest nightlife in the Mediterranean, and the largest concentration of yoga retreats per square kilometre on earth. Ibiza is two islands wearing the same name.
Ranked by overall occasion score. Every hotel verified, priced, and reviewed for 2025–2026.

Ibiza's wellness category exists in deliberate counterpoint to its nightlife reputation, and the best wellness hotels are some of the strongest in the Mediterranean. Six Senses Ibiza is the brand flagship — 116 rooms, the signature sustainability and wellness programmes, on Cala Xarraca. Atzaró Agroturismo on 50 hectares of orange groves runs the original bohemian-spa Ibiza experience. Aguas de Ibiza in Santa Eulalia operates the largest spa on the island.
All Wellness Hotels →Ibiza is the European bachelor/bachelorette capital — the question is which luxury hotel matches the trip. Nobu Ibiza Bay in Talamanca is the polished bachelor/bachelorette option with proximity to Pacha, Lío, and the Ibiza Town nightlife. ME Ibiza with its rooftop pool and DJ programme is the party-luxury option. Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel on Playa d'en Bossa is the only hotel-and-superclub hybrid in the world (the pool is the stage). The two-property split — Playa d'en Bossa for the super-club nights, then transfer to Six Senses or Atzaró for the wellness-recovery half — is the editor-favourite bachelorette pattern.

Six Senses' Mediterranean flagship — 116 rooms on Cala Xarraca, sustainability programme, world-class spa. The wellness-led answer to Ibiza's noisier hotels.
152 rooms, Nobu Restaurant, garden suites with private pools. The most polished Ibiza luxury that's still close enough to Ibiza Town for the nightlife.
80 rooms with seven pools cascading down a cliff above Cala Plana. The best sunset view in Ibiza, and considerably more secluded than the southern luxury cluster.
24 rooms in a restored finca on 50 hectares of orange groves. Extensive spa, organic farm, and the original Ibiza-bohemian aesthetic. The wellness anchor.

June, July, August, and September are Ibiza at peak — full clubs, full beach clubs, full restaurants, and the highest hotel rates of the year. Late May and early October are the better windows for travelers wanting the island without the noise — beach weather, hotels open, prices 30–40% lower. The major clubs (Pacha, Hï, Ushuaïa) operate June–early October only. November–April most beach hotels close; the larger brands (Nobu, Six Senses, Aguas) operate year-round with reduced rates.
Northern coast (Cala Xarraca, San Miquel) is the wild and quiet end — Six Senses and Hacienda Na Xamena. Talamanca Bay just east of Ibiza Town is the most luxury-dense beach — Nobu Ibiza Bay, Mikasa. Santa Eulalia on the eastern coast is the larger family beach town — ME Ibiza, Aguas de Ibiza, Atzaró. San Antonio on the western coast is the budget-young-traveler centre and the home of Pikes. Interior (Santa Gertrudis, San Lorenzo) is the bohemian-luxury alternative — Cas Gasi.
Ibiza's top tier runs €800–€1,500 per night in peak July–August — Six Senses reaches €1,500+ for sea-view suites. Mid-tier runs €400–€700. Beach club lunch (Beso Beach, Blue Marlin, Lío) runs €100–€250 per person before drinks. Restaurant pricing is the highest in the Balearics — €100–€250 per person at the major luxury tables. Boat charter from Ibiza Town runs €1,500–€8,000 per day in season. Hotel transfer from Ibiza Airport runs €60–€120 each way.
Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is the entry — 15 minutes to Ibiza Town, 30 minutes to most northern coast hotels. Ferries from Barcelona (8 hours overnight) and Valencia (5 hours) are options. Within Ibiza, a rental car is the right answer for any trip more than two nights — and is essential for the northern coast. Taxis are available but limited in summer; ride-sharing is restricted. Boats from Ibiza Town to Formentera (30 minutes) operate constantly.
Book Six Senses, Nobu Bay, Hacienda Na Xamena, and Atzaró 5–6 months ahead for July–August. Major club nights (DJ residencies at Pacha, Hï, Ushuaïa) book 1–2 weeks ahead — concierge booking helps. Cancellation windows are 30 days at most properties. Half-board is offered at country properties and is good value. Spanish tipping is light; service is included. Most hotel restaurants are smart casual.
The other major Balearic, 30 minutes by air. Larger, calmer, deeper hotel inventory.
The natural mainland pairing — 50 minutes by air.
The French answer to Ibiza's beach-club + nightlife combination.
The Greek answer. Same demographic, different country.
From the only hotel where the swimming pool is also the super-club stage, to a 1971-founded clifftop with seven cascading pools 180 metres above the Mediterranean, to a 12-room agroturismo where the morning programme is sunrise yoga in a 200-year-old orange grove — twenty Ibiza hotels ranked by super-club walking-distance, group-suite inventory, and how seriously they take the morning after.
