"Oia's edge, balcony plunge pools, the smaller sibling to Andronis Luxury."
Andronis Boutique is the smaller, quieter sibling to Andronis Luxury Suites. The hotel sits two terraces below Andronis Luxury on the same Oia cliff and shares the group's spa, concierge, and the Lauda restaurant booking. Twenty-five suites, almost all with private outdoor space facing the caldera, the upper tiers with balcony plunge pools that look directly down at the Oia footpath. The hotel is less photographed than its bigger sibling and ten to twenty percent cheaper for an equivalent suite. It is also closer to the Oia main square, a five-minute walk to the windmill, the bookshop (Atlantis Books, one of the world's best independent bookshops), and the cliff-edge restaurants. Andronis Boutique is the honeymoon hotel for couples who want the Andronis-group service and the Oia cliff but prefer a smaller, lower-profile property. The shared-Lauda booking is a real benefit; the kitchen there is the strongest in Oia, and Boutique guests can book it as easily as Luxury guests.
Honeymoon Plunge-Pool Suite, balcony plunge pool, caldera-facing.
Book Lauda for the second night through the hotel concierge (guest-only window). Atlantis Books, the village's independent bookshop, run by friends of Joyce Carol Oates and Tom Stoppard, is a five-minute walk; spend an afternoon there.
Andronis Boutique Hotel sits within our broader Top 20 Hotels in Santorini for a Honeymoon list. It scored an aggregate 9.5/10 across the three editorial criteria, competitive against the field but, on a honeymoon-specific factors, the angle above is what earned its rank. For the alternatives in the same Santorini neighbourhood, see Oia, north Santorini and adjacent. For a different city entirely, see the related lists below.
Have firm dates? Our editor's advice is to book roughly twelve weeks in advance. Rooms with the coveted orientation are claimed first, while popular-month availability runs out months in advance. It is the terrace and plunge-pool suites, the rooms this rank rests on, that book up soonest.
A ranked shortlist, a special offer worth booking, and the overpriced stay to skip. Straight from the editors.
