Why Andaz Singapore for business

Andaz Singapore opened in late 2017 on floors 25 to 39 of the DUO complex, and Andre Fu's warm, residential interiors set it apart from the glass-box corporate stock around Marina Bay. The hotel counts 347 rooms, including 27 suites, and the level-39 rooftop bar Mr Stork pours drinks beside teepee huts with a 360-degree skyline view. Bugis MRT sits at the foot of the towers, two stops from Raffles Place and one from City Hall, so meetings across the CBD are a short ride rather than a taxi queue. The honest caveats: this is a lifestyle flag, not a boardroom hotel. The lobby reads social rather than corporate, Mr Stork draws a heavy non-guest crowd after work, and Bugis is livelier and less polished than Marina Bay. Book it when the trip mixes client dinners with creative work; book Marina Bay when you need conference-floor formality.

Best room to request

A high-floor City View Deluxe King facing Marina Bay gets the skyline at the lowest rate. The Andaz Suite adds a separate living area that handles a small in-room meeting.

Concierge tip

Go up to Mr Stork at opening rather than after work; the view is identical and the teepee huts are still free. If you hold World of Hyatt points, price the redemption, it can beat the cash rate here.

The wider context

Andaz Singapore sits within our broader Top 20 Hotels in Singapore for Business list. It scored an aggregate 9.5/10 across the three editorial criteria, competitive against the field but, on business-specific factors, the angle above is what earned its rank. For the alternatives in the same Singapore neighbourhood, see Bugis (DUO Towers) and adjacent. For a different city entirely, see the related lists below.

If the dates are locked in, secure the room around the three-month mark. Suites with the prime view angle sell through first; for peak months, availability is measured in months rather than weeks. It is the terrace and plunge-pool suites, the rooms this rank rests on, that book up soonest.
