Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is the property Singapore knew for three decades as the InterContinental. When the IHG contract expired on December 31, 2025, owner Frasers Hospitality moved the hotel to Marriott, and it reopened under the new name on January 7, 2026. What made it a business fixture survives the flag change: 406 rooms and suites starting from 38 square meters, the shophouse-style heritage rooms that no other Singapore luxury hotel offers, the Cantonese institution Man Fu Yuan, and Bugis MRT directly beneath Bugis Junction with the CBD two stops away. What changes is the ecosystem. Loyalty shifts from IHG One Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy, a gain for most corporate travelers given Marriott's Singapore footprint. Expect some transition wrinkles through 2026, a new flag takes time to settle its routines, and confirm any corporate rate negotiated under IHG before relying on it.

A shophouse-style heritage room or suite; the louvered shutters and Peranakan detailing are the signature here and the reason to pick this hotel over newer Bugis stock. Tower rooms are the conventional alternative.
