Why The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore for business

The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore opened in 2010 as the contemporary sister to the Fullerton Hotel, a glass-and-steel building set over the water at Collyer Quay beside the restored 1933 Clifford Pier, which now serves as the hotel's event venue. At 100 rooms it is the smallest property in the Marina Bay cluster, and every room runs floor-to-ceiling glass; the bay-facing categories look straight across the water to Marina Bay Sands. Lantern, the rooftop bar on level six, pairs an infinity lap pool with the most direct sightline to the nightly Spectra light show. Raffles Place MRT is a four-minute walk, so the CBD commute is shorter than from any Orchard address. Book it when the view is the point of the trip: this is boutique scale, so bay-facing rooms and suites sell out earlier than at the 500-room convention properties nearby.

Best room to request

Premier Bay View Room for the straight-on Marina Bay Sands view; the bay-facing suites add outdoor space over the water.

Concierge tip

Reserve a table at Lantern for your first evening: Spectra runs at 8pm and 9pm nightly, with a third 10pm show on Fridays and Saturdays, and the rooftop has the most direct line of sight across the bay.

The wider context

The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore sits within our broader Top 20 Hotels in Singapore for Business list. It scored an aggregate 9.8/10 across the three editorial criteria, competitive against the field but, on business-specific factors, the angle above is what earned its rank. For the alternatives in the same Singapore neighbourhood, see Marina Bay (Clifford Pier) and adjacent. For a different city entirely, see the related lists below.

Have firm dates? Our editor's advice is to book roughly twelve weeks in advance. Suites with the prime view angle sell through first; for peak months, availability is measured in months rather than weeks. Top-category rooms with private pools or terraces, the reason this hotel ranks here, are routinely the first gone.
