Napili Kai is an independently run boutique resort that has anchored Napili Bay since 1962: 163 rooms and suites across low-rise, two-storey buildings above the bay, the protected cove between Ka'anapali and Kapalua. The draw is the snorkelling. Napili Bay is one of the calmest, most sheltered coves on the west coast, with easy swimming, frequent sea-turtle sightings, and a reef you reach straight off the sand without swimming out into deep water. The Sea House Restaurant handles casual family meals, and the multi-pool layout, a daily Hawaiian cultural session, and a weekly luau run at boutique scale rather than corporate-resort scale.
