Every villa has a private pool and an outdoor terrace, so the resort has no standard room and no shared corridor. Interiors are by Yabu Pushelberg, and sizes run from a 211 sqm one bedroom villa to the 650 sqm four bedroom Royal Villa. Six restaurants and bars serve the property. Yabu Pushelberg did the interiors, and the layout across roughly 10 hectares of hilltop grounds means villas sit apart from one another rather than stacked in a block. The privacy is real. So are the quality control issues that come with a young property: guests have reported murky water in a villa pool on arrival, and a private pool whose edge design throws water more than a metre out onto the terrace. Reservations staff have also given inconsistent explanations of villa usage policy, so get any question about occupancy, day visitors or extra guests answered in writing before you travel. Inspect the pool at check in and raise anything immediately rather than on departure.

Where should you eat and drink?

Raffles Sentosa Singapore holds no Michelin star, and its Michelin connection needs handling carefully. The resort is the announced venue for the MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2026 ceremony on 4 August 2026, an invite only event, but hosting a ceremony is a booking, not an award, and no restaurant here is starred in the current 2025 selection. Six restaurants and bars operate across the property. The one to know is Empire Grill, modern Italian, split between an indoor room in a rustic Italian register and an alfresco terrace set directly beside the main pool, which makes it the natural default for both lunch and a long dinner. Because the resort is hilltop and villa based, dining is a resort decision rather than a neighbourhood one: you will eat on site more than you expect, and the villa privacy that sells the place also means fewer reasons to leave it. Ask what your rate includes, since opening packages bundled breakfast.

What is the spa and pool like?

Water is the defining amenity. All 62 villas have a private pool, and there is in addition a main outdoor lap pool landscaped in greenery beside Empire Grill, so the resort never depends on one crowded deck. There is no rooftop or skyline infinity pool here, and nothing overlooking the city: the outlook is tropical grounds. Raffles Sentosa Spa occupies a characterful heritage building on the estate and combines massage, hydrotherapy, yoga, mindfulness, fitness and science based skincare, which is a broader remit than a treatment room list. Two honest caveats. Villa pool quality control has been inconsistent, with at least one guest reporting murky water on arrival, so check yours immediately. And the same design that gives you total privacy means the resort has little communal life, which some guests find isolating rather than restful over several nights.

Where is Raffles Sentosa, and how do you get there?

The address is 4 Bukit Manis Road, on a Sentosa hilltop, and it is deliberately removed from the city. Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay are about 20 minutes by car, Orchard Road about 20 to 25 minutes, the CBD roughly 15 minutes and Changi Airport about 30 minutes. The opening package included return transfers to Changi and the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, so confirm whether yours still does. The grounds run to roughly 100,000 sqm, about 10 hectares, which is why villas feel separated rather than adjacent. Note that a separate Artillery Avenue address circulates online for the spa building; the resort address for arrivals is Bukit Manis Road. As with any Sentosa property, factor in the island crossing on every trip into town. If your itinerary is museums, hawker centres and shopping, a city base will serve you better. If it is the villa and the pool, this location is the point.
